I got a Macbook Air!

January 30, 2008

Actually, I didn’t really… I got a Macbook Paper. It now sits on my desk and looks beautiful. I would definitely recommend this tiny piece of technology. It was also very cheap to get.

If you want to get your own Macbook Paper… it’s only a click away: Here.

On to more important matters… It’s been raining in Los Angeles! It seems that most people here are quite afraid of the rain or maybe they are just allergic. The traffic reduces, hardly anybody is seen walking on the sidewalks, and people refuse to leave their houses to come visit you. It’s quite tragic, but also somewhat comical. Perhaps a dark comedy?

Speaking of genres let’s move on to the film industry. There are rumors circulating that the writer’s strike will end in about three weeks (let’s keep our fingers crossed). If this is true, we will all be working in no time again. And if you actually don’t work in film, well… be glad that your shows will be back and running again on the air with new episodes!!! Yay, no more reruns!!!

Alright enough of that. Now this is really important… I was told about the Cheese Store of Beverly Hills. Website: Here. I need to go to this place. For those of you that don’t know, I’m fond of cheese. And chocolate. Anyway, if you’ve ever been there let me know!!!

Wikipedia, here I am.

January 28, 2008

Okay. So the title of this post might be a little misleading and to clear up any confusion… No, I do not have my own Wikipedia article… yet.

Basically the photographs of me with Elijah Kelley, Brittany Snow, and Adam Shankman are in their respective Wikipedia articles. You can either search for them, or if you are too lazy:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elijah_Kelley
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brittany_Snow
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Shankman

You can see me in the original of each photograph. Knowing Wikipedia the pictures probably won’t last very long in those articles. But for now, let’s enjoy the moment.

La Vie en Rose

January 23, 2008

Hello blogosphere,

I saw La Vie en Rose. I bet that I am the last person to see this wonderful film. Indeed, it was wonderful. There were certain elements I probably could have done without, but those were only one or two. Aside from that the film is a work of art and Marion Cotillard’s performance really is oscar worthy.

I just wanted to let you know that I would recommend it to anyone. Those that love Edith Piaf and those whom have no idea who she is (but who does not know Edith?).

Precious Moments

January 17, 2008

I just spent the last few days in Hesperia filming for a short film called Precious Moments. I’m somewhat happy to be home, in my own bed. But I am sad that I had to leave. If I had a choice I would just keep filming. It was a lot of fun and I met many cool people.

The coolest part of my little adventure was the encounter with fellow Star Wars followers. It really made me feel more comfortable that the people around me were familiar with what is really happening in the galaxy. I actually think that we should all have a Star Wars costume party (I call R2D2!). That would be pretty sweet actually.

I’m very tired now that I am back. I hope to see the film soon because it looks like it will be a good project. And I’m anxious to see what it will look like on the other side. Also quite nervous, I don’t think I can handle looking at myself. I’ve always thought it strange to see photographs of myself or hear my voice in a recording.

Anyway, I’m glad to be back and hopefully I will blog more often for the few that listen (or read… rather).

For the sake of updating

January 11, 2008

I saw Eastern Promises last night for the first time. It was a good movie, but not really my type of film I suppose.

On Wednesday I had the pleasure of meeting Saoirse Ronan. She’s a very sweet girl.

I hope everyone has been having a good new year so far and if not, well, I hope it gets better as soon as possible (by tonight might be good).
